QUZZLE 2023 RESULTS AND REPORT
Returned entries have been scrutinised
and marked. As ever, many alternative
answers, had to be verified. Several were viable & accepted, though some
had to be refused (you can be very inventive and always keep me on my toes!).
This year’s Quizzle,
despite protestations to the contrary, must have been easier as five entries
(with viable alternatives taken into account) got perfect scores. These were entries from David Hornsby
(London), The Abernethy Family, Mike and Pauline Harrison (both from
Torrisdale), Jean Baker (Chesterfield) and Chris Chantler (Bath).
Committee members, as laid out in Quizzle rules, held
a draw to decide the ultimate winner, and the outcome is that The Harrisons are
the overall winners. Congratulations to them, and commiserations to the four
unlucky runners up.
A big Thankyou to all who took part and who
supported Carradale Village Hall. It is much appreciated and especially those
who made additional contributions to a worthy cause.
All being well, Quizzle
2024 should come out in November2024.
